"Residents by the (Russian) Bureya rail station, nearly 2000 miles along the Trans-Siberian railway, were told not to use their cars, stay in their houses and not look out the window as his armored train arrived.
The dictator got out of his train and straight into his armored car, agencies reported.
On a visit in 2001, a window of the train was smashed and a concrete pillar reportedly placed on rails during a three-week journey which saw him go as far as Moscow before heading back.
