If the ECB offers a total guarantee to backstop all the banks in the single-currency bloc, then would it matter to the Euro Zone 16 that remained if Greece were to leave? The answer is no, because there would be no reason to create a run on the other nation's banks as they would be totally supported by the ECB.''
