"A senior Iranian Navy commander announced Sunday that the Islamic Republic of Iran will expand its presence in free and international waters, IRNA reported.
Talking to IRNA, Deputy Navy Commander Rear-Admiral Gholam-Reza Khadem Bigham said at present, the Navy has an active role in safeguarding the interests of the Iranian nation in international waters."
