"Saying that Fannie Mae and other lenders are “dumping toxic Chinese drywall home foreclosures on completely innocent or unknowing U.S. homebuyers,” the Chinese Drywall Complaint Center (CDCC) alleges that the foreclosure crisis will just “get worse” if as-is foreclosures are not controlled[1]. CDCC also accuses lenders of “securities fraud on a massive scale.” Currently, Chinese drywall has been found in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Virginia and Southeast Texas homes, though the group believes that there may be issues elsewhere in the country.


Chinese drywall is an imported drywall that was used in some U.S. homes between 2003 and 2008. The drywall appears to cause problematic symptoms in home inhabitants like irritated, itchy eyes and skin, difficulty breathing and premature cough and headaches. The drywall also causes premature deterioration of metal components like air conditioner coils and electrical wiring[2]"............
